TEAM MIP 5K RUNNER, JOSIE JOY MAGNESS

Josie has been a local "missioner" to the Birthday Club since she turned 4-years old!  Now 9 years old, Josie set a school record this year on her cross country team for the fastest mile ever run by an elementary student! 

When asked why she wanted to run the 5k with Team MIP, Josie said:

"I like to run for MIP because it is fun and can help raise money for us to do some cool stuff with all our special needs friends.  My second reason is that I can help other people decide if they want to come volunteer to help with the Shining Stars and the Birthday Club!"
